The Automotive Industry Institute PIMOT® was found by Polish Council of Ministers in 1972, as the automotive industry Research and Development unit.
PIMOT`s lines of activity cover scientific, R&D works and automotive products testing services. Institute is a separate and independent unit. It makes an unquestionable basic for impartiality of its opinion and test result obtained.

Major areas of activity of the Marketing, Sales, Training and IT Department are:
1. presentation of Automotive Industry Institute PIMOT
2. offering test services
3. seeking and establishing R+D cooperation
4. customer supporting (also SME company) in the scope of:
- R&D project cooperation
- products adapting to the UE market requirements
- launch a new product on Polish market
- raising financial resources for innovative solutions
5. promotion of PIMOT through:
- participation at the trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and other events regarding automotive industry and market
- BTL advertising creation directed at the appropriate target group
- PR
7. administration of the PIMOT`s computer network and web side
8. organizing domestic and international science conference, training course, promotion event and other.
