PIMOT is a technical unit authorized by the Minister of  Infrastructure to carry out type-approval tests  for conformity with UN ECE Regulations (mark “E’) and with EU directives applicable to automotive products (mark “e”). The type approval tests are carried out by PIMOT Laboratories.
The production conformity is supervised and the matters related to the granting of type approvals are handled by the PIMOT Quality Centre.
