Aries Ingenieria awarded major contract in Poland

Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas, has been recently awarded a new contract for the design, supply and installation of a crash test facility for ŁUKASIEWICZ – PIMOT (Łukasiewicz Research Network – Automotive Industry Institute). This facility will be one of the most cutting-edge vehicle testing centers in the region and will allow full scale real crash and simulated crash tests. The crash test facility design will guarantee the performance of tests with vehicles up to five tons and at 110 km/h.

ŁUKASIEWICZ – PIMOT was founded as the central unit in the system of Polish automotive industry research and development facilities. The Institute's lines of operation cover scientific, research, and development work in the field of automotive industry problems.

ŁUKASIEWICZ – PIMOT provides Polish and European companies (mostly from automotive sector) with strong scientific and research support during the process of improvement of their products and their introduction on market.

Designed to integrate the latest innovations for crash simulation testing and full scale crash testing.

The laboratory will enable ŁUKASIEWICZ – PIMOT engineers to test in both directions of the track by the use of our bi-directional guidance and propulsion technology, and our state-of-the-art  bi-trolley guarantees the accuracy and repeatability of the overall system. Besides, this facility will integrate a crash barrier, filming pit and auxiliary equipment.

ŁUKASIEWICZ – PIMOT, whom had already contracted some elements of a crash simulation system to Aries, has fully trusted in Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas for this new project, continuing its path to become one of the most advanced automotive testing laboratories of Eastern Europe.

This fits into the company global goal to expand the network of business and to build safety test capabilities in different markets. One of the most recent successful case studies has been KATRI in Korea.
